SAT Test Center Locations in Hong Kong for the December 2014 Exam
There are more than 35 potential SAT Testing Centers in Hong Kong for the next SAT in December (2014) – the 6th to be specific. We wanted to help everyone who needed some extra help to find the different locations. The information is also posted on the Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority, but we wanted to be another outlet to help all of you great students and parents.

Three More SanLi Students+ Now Have a HIGH Chance to get into 5 Ivy League Universities
This past month, in our news section, you can see we helped hundreds of our students score 2200+ all the way up to 2370 for 3 very hard working and talented students.
A brief recap:
- 3 Students Scored 2370 – 30 points from perfect.
- 45 Students Scored 2300 or higher (99% Percentile)
- 150+ Students Scored 2200 or higher
- 2 Students received a Perfect Critical Reading Score of 800
- 11 Students obtained a Perfect Writing Score of 800
For the 2200+ students, we’ll dedicate a future blog post identifying where their futures may be in terms of college, but for the 3 students who did what very few students do, they have a HIGH chance to get into the following IVY LEAGUE Universities:

In order to do that, you need all the right tools to execute on this.

While it may seem insignificant to some, it gives you the ability to honestly write as much as it would take to fill the two pages in a more “realistic fashion” and help you gauge how much you really need to write. Many of us know that “quantity” is an important factor and it has been proven it can affect SAT Essay Scores. It’s been supported not only by the New York Times article about Dr. Perelman from MIT in the previous link, but also by another student who ABC profiled showing that longer essays equate to higher scores.
How do you know if you’re writing long enough? Well, download the essay writing paper for the SAT and practice a good number of times within 25 minutes to see if you can write enough to fill these two pages.

The ACT is one of the two most accepted exams for college entrance into United States colleges and universities. The Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority helps administer the test here in Hong Kong. However, some of the information may be a little confusing and so we’re here trying to help you understand more about the centers including locations, registration and other frequently asked questions.

“A” is for Articulate
In life, people can’t deny that communication is one of the most important aspects to success. However, even deeper than just the broad idea of “communication” is the ability to articulate your ideas and thoughts to others. Also, learning or figuring out what people are saying depends on how they again “articulate” the ideas to you.
To articulate ideas as clearly as possible, you need a broad set of “tools” or resources to communicate those ideas. And guess what? What your English teacher said and all the academic influences you’ve had in life have told you is right: you must study vocabulary!
Like the aforementioned, very few people can deny that it’s important to be able to communicate and if you want to be a better communicator, learn more vocabulary. Regardless of what age you are at, build on the base that you have now. Learn a word a day. Be more ambitious and learn 5! Read the New York Times on a regular basis and look up the words you don’t know. I’m sure there will be a good number of them you won’t know.
