Total SSAT Test Takers Every Year

We were trying to find some quick and simple statistics on the:

Annual SSAT Test Takers per Year (Grades 5 through 11)

…but couldn’t find anything.  However, we found a copy of the 2011-2012 Interpretive Guide to the SSAT which had a lot of data on the Percentiles of studetns from Grade 5 to Grade 11.  The guide studied students taking the exam from August 2008 to July 2011.  The specific numbers per grade were:

  • Grade 11: 2,546
  • Grade 10: 10,232
  • Grade 9: 23,481
  • Grade 8: 99,080
  • Grade 7: 17,342
  • Grade 6: 14,603
  • Grade 5: 13,005

Again, these are 3 years worth of students taking the exam.
