Another student scores a Perfect 2400 on the SAT and a Perfect 36 on the ACT

Kids are slam dunking the standardized tests these days including St. Louis senior Abby Lammers.

Lammers jumped from a 2220 to a perfect score on the SAT.  Despite missing questions before the real test with her tutor, she ended up getting the 2400.

“She basically said I had nothing to lose,” Lammers said. Still, Lammers was “completely shocked” when she got the results. She said she had a tutor for a few weeks and would consistently miss a few questions.

She also joins the less than 1% who garners these scores individually.  She may now be in an elite group that frankly is like 1% of 1%.

Nationally, the actual number of students earning a composite score of 36 varies each year, but, on average, less than one-tenth of 1 percent of students who take the ACT earn the top score, according to Katie Wacker, a spokeswoman with ACT.
